
This dresser was my dad's childhood dresser, which he passed to me when I was growing up. Unfortunately, around college the drawer broke and it sat collecting dust for years. I remember even calling a carpenter to get a quote to fix it, but we just never followed through. Little did I know that I would be the one to eventually give it a second life.

The Vision:
Sand the whole dresser to remove the scratches. Stain the entire dresser and add a polyurethane finish to add scratch resistance. Try to fix the broken drawer, if that doesn't work add a shelf instead. Finally, try to polish up the hardware.
